SHIPPING & RETURNS
Shipments are made directly from Nienhuis in the Netherlands which saves on delivery time. Deliveries are made by DHL for dispatch and managed by Chronopost in France for smaller parcels.
If your order includes several materials, the materials that are available immediately are sent to you and the remaining material will be sent to you as soon as available at no additional cost. Orders paid by debit or credit card are processed immediately, for payments by transfer or check, we expect the receipt of payment before any processing.
The administrative orders placed by town halls or schools are processed immediately.
In order to follow the progress of your order, once your package is shipped, a tracking number will be automatically sent to you for tracking.
Delivery times are dependent on the availability of products and the time you place your order. It usually takes between a few days to a week on average between when your order is placed and receipt of the available products. An order placed during the day is, according to the time of the day, processed and sent immediately to Nienhuis, the preparation of the package often takes place the next day, depending on the workload of the logistics, and the shipment one of two days after. For larger orders/Pallets, they may require a little more preparation time.
The invoiced shipping costs are much lower than the real cost of the transport, the treatment and the preparation of an order. Wood materials weigh heavy, and can often be bulky. Regarding the shipping costs and in considering the different weights and volumes, in France, we decided on an average price of € 10. Shipping costs are however free for orders over 300 € (excluding furniture). Switzerland, Monaco and Norway incur a fixed fee of € 30 applied for any processing by customs.
We deliver worldwide and it is impossible to calculate all possible combinations of materials for all countries. In addition for certain destinations the plane or the sea freight is obligatory. It is for this reason that the port for certain destinations will require an exact quote (the fairest possible) compared to the ordered equipment.
DATES OF INDICATIVE AVAILABILITY
If items are not immediately available, an indicative date of expected availability is displayed on each product when known. This date corresponds to the receipt by the supplier of the container containing these products. We must add a few days of treatment before the actual shipment of products.
This date is therefore information, resulting from an industrial and transport process, subject to hazards: it can vary somewhat so over time. We try to share the maximum amount of information that we have, but these dates can not be contractual.
DELIVERY AND TRANSPORT
The indicated delivery times are always by approximation and subject to change unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing. Montessori World shall do everything reasonably possible to ensure delivery is made in accordance with the stated delivery period.
Certain products or order volumes may justify a longer delivery time. If this is the case, it will be expressly mentioned to the consumer during the validation of the order.
B) DAMAGED GOODS AND PARTIAL LOSS
The customer agrees to check the conformity of the product ordered with the actual delivery. If upon delivery, the customer identifies obvious and visible damaged goods, the customer must refuse the consignment or report the damage to the carrier that dispatched the consignment, within 24 hours.
The customer must also inform the seller without delay, so that a new package is prepared, and shipped upon receipt of the damaged package in return. In this case, the delivery times indicated above in these terms and conditions will no longer apply.
B) ERROR OF DELIVERY
Any delivery error with respect to the order or apparent defect must be the subject of a complaint within three clear days from the delivery. After this period, the customer will no longer be able to claim an error of delivery or an apparent defect.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
CUSTOMER RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Consistent with the legislation in force, customers have a period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the material to request reimbursement. In order to exercise this right, it is their responsibility to return (at their expense) the parcel to the address of the sender, accompanied by a letter requesting reimbursement and possible reasons.
All returns must be complete (original impeccable packaging, manuals, accessories, copy of the invoice) and the returned products must be in perfect condition for resale, they must not be soiled or damaged (because of their use ). It is strongly recommended to carry out an effective packaging to protect them during the return transport.
Any delay in delivery of more than seven days may result in the resolution of the sale on the initiative of the customer, upon simple written request, sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. The consumer will then be reimbursed for the sums he has incurred as a result of the order. This clause is not intended to apply if the delay in delivery is due to the customer or a case of force majeure, beyond our control.
In such a case, the customer undertakes not to prosecute Montessori World and waives the right of cancellation of the sale provided for in this article.
